Bluettti EB70S with Solar Panels

Campers, outdoorsmen and women, RVers, boaters, and media creators appreciate having off-grid power at their fingertips. The Bluetti EB70S mobile power station and solar generator is an excellent choice for active people with many rechargeable devices. The Bluetti EB70S is also perfect for when the power goes out and during emergencies. When paired with Bluetti portable folding solar panels, the EB70S will recharge off-grid in about 5 hours. It can also be charged with other d/c sources or grid power. The EB70S can be charged and used at the same time.

Features

The core of the EB70S is the lithium -Iron-Phosphate (LiFePo) battery. This battery has a useful life of 2500 charge/discharge cycles. The unit has a capacity of 716 watt-hours. In the simplest terms, that means that it can power a 700-watt device for 1 hour or a 350-watt device for 2 hours. The maximum continuous output is 800w, and the surge or starting max power is 1400watts.

A/C and D/C Power

The a/c power is available through four standard outlets. The outlets have a maximum of 700 watts. You can also get d/c power to charge your USB devices through USB A and USB C fast charging ports. A 12-volt cigarette lighter socket fits the connector of many 12-volt devices. In addition, there are 12 volt/ 10 amp DC5521 ports to power compatible devices. Many electronic devices, such as printers and monitors, connect to the DC5521 port.

Flexible Charging

The best way to charge off-grid is using Bluetti portable solar panels matched to the unit. You can also charge it using your car cigarette lighter port, another generator, or a/c grid power. When using third-party equipment, check the charging specs and confirm that the connected gear is matched.

The Bluetti EB70S User Interface

The EB70S has an LED screen that shows the battery charge state and the charging and discharging watts. The unit has a master on/off button, a button for a/c power, and one for d/c power. Battery power will be consumed without anything plugged in if the unit or the outlet switches are left on.

Physical Properties

The EB70S is about the size of a small cooler. It weighs 21 pounds, making it convenient for an adult to carry short distances. On a long walk, carrying the unit would be pretty inconvenient, especially if you are taking the solar panels.

The EB70S case is rugged enough to hold up under normal handling and use. It is not, however, water-proof, dust-proof, or shock-proof. Electrical devices should not be used in wet environments. Otherwise, use common sense and caution when using this unit, and things will go well.

Wrap-UP

The Bluetti EB70S is excellent if you want a high-quality portable solar generator to power small and medium devices off-grid. Its core feature is a Li Fe Po battery with a 2500 charge/discharge cycle life, which is more than the industry standard 1000 cycles. Otherwise, it has great specs and is built by an industry leader, Bluetti. You will pay a little more than you would for other products, but it will be worth it.
